When i travel with the trailer (billy the kid) parking takes on a whole new challenge .. with Calamity Jane at the helm , the two reach a length longer than a good size car .. all up around 6 metres of space is needed… and added to that i’m still yet to master reversing with a trailer .. it’s a mind F#% or the funniest show on earth watching me try … so i look for easy solutions.. even if it means parking blocks away from where i need to be 🤦‍♀️

So rolling into towns and special places to stop requires a little bit of good luck more than good management ..

Here i am snagging a spot right in front of a motorcycle riders favoured cafe called “The Outpost Cafe “ talk about bloody lucky !!! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾Located in Canungra in the Gold Coast Hinterland QLD … it’s simply stunning riding and usually perfect weather all year around.

Canungra. Known as the 'Valleyof the Owls', Canungra owes its existence to the early cedar getters and sawmillers and in the early part of the 20th century was home to the largest softwood timber mill in Australia. The town's name comes from the Aboriginal word for small owls, "Caningera". The most notable owl found in the area is the Australian boobook owl.

i plan another ride north this xmas / new year ..
