I’VE SEEN FIRE AND I’VE SEEN RAIN

Both these photos were taken at different times of course and a good few month back now.

Australia is a land of extreme weather conditions. But we are not alone.. even though being an Island Continent, we feel like we are very alone and isolated down here, which may explain why Australian’s are such big travellers… we have severe FOMO and can’t bear the thought of not being involved in world stuff 😊 . The weather anywhere these days is crazy and sometimes has no rhyme or reason and makes planning adventures a little challenging.

I don’t have much to say about these two pics. Except I was heading south down NSW coast heading into what looks like the eye of a tiger.. The air was thick with smoke.. and the other time I was up the northern area of NSW near Uralla.. I was on dirt tracks from a place where I just did some side car motorbike training ( and managed to roll it down a hill!!! Only the second student to do so .. D’oh!! ) and the heavens opened up and I found myself in the eye of a storm.

And for the trivia part to this post… James Taylor wrote "Fire and Rain" in 1968. The song has three verses. One is about a friend who committed suicide, another is about Taylor's addiction to heroin, the third refers to a mental hospital and a band Taylor started called The Flying Machine.

So I leave you with this.. and I expect if you are my vinatge you will sing along. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I've seen fire and I've seen rain

I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you again

See you on the road one day !
